Las Vegas-Clark County Library District cardholders can reserve a free Family Ranch Visit during Family Farm Days at Horses4Heroes' The Ranch Las Vegas: groom and lead miniature horses, tour the barnyard, try milking a stationary cow, play in the fenced playground and run a scavenger hunt. Each reservation admits up to three children; one reservation per family per day. Horse and pony rides cost extra. Weather may cancel visits. (North Las Vegas Library District cardholders get the same visit through their own library, which lists 9am–noon.)
