Nine ponds and about five miles of trails at Henderson's water reclamation site draw thousands of migratory waterfowl in winter, plus roadrunners, quail and other desert birds year-round. A ¾-mile paved path is wheelchair accessible, and loaner binoculars are available. Open daily 7am–2pm (June–August 6am–noon; last entry 30 minutes before close); closed Jan 1, July 4, Nov 27 and Dec 24–25. No pets, biking or running. Entry has no charge; only the optional guided tours are priced (cart tours $2 per person on weekends, walking tours $15 per group).
