Light the 45-foot Christmas tree on Green Street. Doors open at 5pm with a complimentary keepsake ornament from sponsor booths, free kids' activities in the market building, holiday vendor booths and live music; the 6pm ceremony ends with Santa's arrival, then photos with Santa until 8:30pm.
Rising Phoenix Breathwork leads a free slow-flow breathing session meant to calm stress, on the Green Street plaza in Downtown Lee's Summit (moves to the lawn if weather or numbers require).
