New York's giant Halloween night parade marches up Sixth Avenue from King Street to West 15th Street, with puppets, bands and thousands of costumed marchers. Watch from either side of the avenue; crowds are thickest between Bleecker and 14th. Anyone in costume can also join the march from the lineup at Canal Street and Sixth Avenue (6:30–9pm).
