Warner Park Nature Center: free nature museum, gardens and naturalist programs

Tue–Sat 9am–4pm

Warner Park Nature CenterNashville

Warner Park Nature Center, the hub of Metro Parks' nature centers, has a small natural history museum where kids can go inside a giant tree and walk under a creek, plus a touch table, organic garden, teaching pond, bird garden and a nature play area. It's open Tuesday–Saturday 9am–4pm. Most of its naturalist programs (owl walks, bird banding, nature shares) are free, and many need registration.
