Birds Houston leads its monthly Urban Bird Survey through Memorial Park's Clay Family Eastern Glades on the first Monday of every month, year-round, and beginners are welcome. Meet at 7:30am at the north end of the Eastern Glades parking lot near the restroom pavilion off East Memorial Loop Drive. The walk takes about 90 minutes; ask if you need to borrow binoculars. Parking meters cost $2.
